Benita Cloward
Therapy Intern
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at the University of the Cumberlands, where I am completing a Master’s degree with a focus on trauma-informed, client-centered care. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University–Idaho, where I also earned a certificate in Marriage, Family, and Human Relations.
Before beginning the counseling internship, I built a thriving holistic life coaching practice, supporting individuals through healing from betrayal trauma, narcissistic abuse, divorce, and other major life transitions. My approach integrates compassion, cultural humility, and practical tools to foster empowerment, resilience, and healthy relationships.
Fluent in both English and German, I am passionate about working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported in their healing journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, exploring nature, and spending time with my four children and two dogs.
